The 2-month countdown has begun!

We are so excited to again attend the Asian Seed Congress in beautiful Christchurch from the 20th to the 24th of November this year.

New Zealand is a happening place for all things horticultural and vegetable seed-related, and Centor Oceania is excited to represent the seed technology market.

Darren Driscoll will join Mark Verster and members of Centor India Agri Pvt Ltd- Biraja Prasad Mohapatra and Krishendu Mondal at the various conferences and events happening throughout the 4-day event.

Today is R U OK? Day 👌🏼

This week at our Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland offices we held a morning tea to encourage all employees to have a chat and feel like they have a space to talk - as well as have a chance to break out some yellow clothes!
 
Eunice Shao is our qualified Mental Health officer at the Carrum Downs office. She ran a guided meditation for everyone, which was a good time to take a breather, and provided resources for anyone who felt they may need it.

REVIEW FROM THE INDIAN SEED CONGRESS 2023

Centor Oceania’s Global Sales & Business Development Manager, Darren Driscoll, spent almost 2 weeks in India visiting customers in New Delhi and attending the Indian Seed Congress in early March.

The ISC is the largest seed congress held in Southeast Asia, with 300+ delegates attending, representing around 150 companies.

Darren also travelled to Hyderabad and spent time with the Centor India sales team conducting training, planning meetings, and visiting customers. The key focus was to understand the market, customers, the challenges, and opportunities, of which Darren said there were many.

Centor Oceania were proud to be part of The Asian Seed Congress recently held in Thailand, showcasing several types of seed coating materials as well as a demonstration of our Lab FlowTek, which tests seed flowability and can distinguish between seed treatments with a high degree of accuracy. The Lab FlowTek has been solely designed and developed by Centor Oceania (Australia); and shipped all over the world.

The objective of this campaign is to invite seed treatment companies to take a closer look at what Centor Oceania has to offer.

“At the same time, we are giving them an opportunity to take a closer look at their coating requirements or how we can help improve their product,” says Centor Oceania global sales and business development manager, Darren Driscoll.

DUST CONTROL - IMPROVED FLOW - GREAT APPEARANCE

As always our R&D team have many projects underway in our lab. Its looking more like a plant nursery as they look at the 9 month storage tests on our new maize polymers, plus trialing some exciting next Biologicals on Chickpeas.

Another busy year ahead supplying our Australian designed Lab FlowTek Meters which are shipped all over the world.

​

Centor Oceania has developed a lab scale seed flowability tester which can do just that, by using the flow meter you can distinguish between seed treatments with a high degree of accuracy. The Lab Flow Tek will measure how quickly seed will pass through equipment, it will also let you know if there will be any issues with bridging in hoppers as well as gauging plantability in the field.

This year the 2020 APSA seed conference will hold Virtual Technical Sessions. Centor Oceania are proud to announce that we will be one of several companies sponsoring the session on Seed Technology to be held on Monday the 23rd of November 2020.

CAN YOU AFFORD NOT TO have a dust off test to improve your seed coat?

Centor Oceania offers a treated seed dust off measurement service, using the Heubach Dustmeter. Seed is placed into a chamber which is rotated while air is being pulled across the tumbling seed.

​

Measurement of the amount of dust can be taken to accurately determine how well the coating is adhered to the seed surface.
